Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft (as of January, 2020). Any system with Windows 7 is subject to major security risks.
Here’s what you need to know about Windows 10:
- The traditional start menu has returned
- Windows 10 has enhanced security and updates
- Performance is very good
- Supports multiple “virtual” desktops
- This is the last version of Windows. Microsoft has indicated that Windows 10 will be the last numbered version of the OS. Updates and upgrades will become more incremental.
How to upgrade
It’s important to CHECK WITH US before upgrading your computer to Windows 10. We will go through extensive checks & testing to verify that all of your business applications are compatible with Windows 10. In some situations, your hardware may also not be compatible.
Additionally, it’s important to get a solid FULL backup of your computer and its data before your computer is updated. It’s possible for an upgrade to install incorrectly, resulting in data loss or an inoperable computer.
