External Vulnerability Scanning

In today’s digital landscape, cybersecurity is a critical concern. External vulnerability scanning is a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential weaknesses in an organization’s external-facing infrastructure. It’s like conducting a security health checkup, looking for weak spots that hackers might exploit.

The scanning process involves preparation, scanning, analysis, and mitigation. However, there are challenges, including false positives, limited visibility, and the need for regular scans. Despite these challenges, external vulnerability scanning is a useful tool in protecting against cyber threats.

As an addition to our MMS program, we will be adding regular scans to help protect our clients. External vulnerability scanning will be a new foundational pillar in our growing and evolving cybersecurity strategy.
