Chad Klamer – Field Technician
Q: What is your job title and how long have you been with the company?
A: I am a Field Technician and have been with Glassen Technology Services for 7 years.
Q: What is it like working at Glassen?
A: Some days it can feel like drinking from a fire hose! It’s a very fast-paced yet rewarding work environment. I get to work in many different areas including PCs/Laptops, servers, switching, routing, WIFI, email, phones, printing/scanning, backup solutions, hardware, software, and consulting/technical instruction.
Q: What do you like about the company culture?
A: I enjoy that the team gets along well with each other and generally enjoys each other’s company, both at the office and on company outings.
Q: What is your favorite part of the job?
A: I love helping to resolve & provide solutions to our client’s technology issues. I’m constantly trying to keep up to date with any new technology and trends to offer the latest and greatest to all of our clients.
Q: What is unique about working at Glassen?
A: You can have all the popcorn you could possibly ever want to eat!
Q: How would you summarize your job?
A: I provide onsite delivery, installation, setup, and troubleshooting of all IT equipment. I also complete on-site onboarding tasks for our new clients. Lastly, I thoroughly document existing and new equipment infrastructure.
Q: What is something about you that not many people know?
A: I once met the original Rocky Rococo!
Q: What is your favorite hobby?
A: I have kept an active aquarium or terrarium since I was 12 years old! I also really enjoy gardening.
Q: Are you currently binge-watching any shows?
A: I don’t really binge any TV shows myself, but I often catch what my family watches such as: Below Deck, Schitt’s Creek & Psych.
Q: One thing you couldn’t live without?
A: My Family.
Q: What is something we should know about you?
A: I have a very unique party trick – I can juggle hammers.
